Sales Lead

Verbal+Visual is seeking a thoughtful and knowledgeable Sales Lead. In this role you will be assisting the Director of Sales for all inbound sales activities within the organization. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing a robust sales strategy for the department, including client personas, processes, sales methods and collateral.
  • Build out Scopes and Proposals from existing templates on a client by client basis.
  • Qualify prospective clients who show interest in working with Verbal+Visual
  • Build relationships with prospective clients and creatively work together to propose business growth and showcase value.
  • Build client lists for outbound sales, and perform outbound sales outreach in coordination with technology and agency partners such as Shopify Plus.
  • Assist in sales effort across the entire funnel to close new business from research to negotiation.
  • Assist in crafting progress reports and support in internal sales update meetings.
  • Assist in managing all partnerships, including with Shopify Plus, our technology partners, and our agency partners.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university.
  • 5+ years hands-on sales experience within a relevant agency or industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals.
  • Detail oriented and thorough in approach.
  • An excellent attitude and a strong passion for your career!
  • Must live within commuting distance of Manhattan, New York.
