Verbal+Visual is seeking a motivated Senior E-commerce Project Manager. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing complex client projects and ensuring client goals are exceeded through the delivery of high quality work on time and on budget. In addition, you will be tasked with helping shape and refine processes to ensure an efficient and effective Production department.
Understand the clients and project goals and articulate them clearly
Work in tandem with strategy to create project plans and requirements documents and to see those plans through
Serve as the day-to-day contact for clients and cross-functional internal teams
Monitor day-to-day activities of project teams and ensure work is progressing as planned using tools such as Asana, Slack, Forecast and Harvest
Manage schedules, budgets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon
Manage resource assignments to the project, and proactively identify resource challenges
Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance
Consistently identify needs that clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs
Consistently manage client expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on client feedback
Communicate and document project status to clients, team members, and management on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels
Recap and create debriefs for every completed project; facilitate discussions on lessons learned and new knowledge gained; document properly and share
Have a strong understanding of Shopify and the Shopify CMS with the capacity to implement and manage content and educate the client on the system
Independently lead large scale, complex, e-commerce migration and redesign projects from start to finish
Identify areas of opportunity for efficiencies around process and put together relevant documentation and educational materials to help educate all relevant team members
Ensure clients receive both high quality work and a high level of service at all times
